Sunday School For All Ages
This adult ministry is designed to help strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ. Each week coffee, tea, and snacks are served while we study God's Word together. Students have opportunity to volunteer and share answers to questions that are raised during the teaching. Mature adults will also find opportunities for class trips for enrichment and enhancing Christian friendships. The Bible teaching is challenging and interactive with study sheets given out each Sunday.
The Young Fundamentalists
This Sunday school class is for 18 to 20 something, never-been-married men. Each week this class will challenge and inspire young men to live for Christ and encourage friendship and fellowship among it's members. Outings and special events will be organized throughout the year to further strengthen relationships.
Young people must be taught the clear commandments of God's Word. The Bible says in II Timothy 2:2, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." From the time that the umbilical cord is cut the child spends an increasing amount of time apart from mom and the parents. We believe that this time should be filled with things that the family believes in and teaches based upon the Bible. Thus, our teen ministry reinforces the training ministry of the parents with the understanding that the maturing process naturally means more time away. The goal of our ministry is expressed by John the apostle, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth" (III John4).
Children are a gift from God. They are given to parents, and it is the responsibility of parents to give their children back to God. Giving a child to God involves first the surrender of the parents' will to the will of God. When the parent takes the child to church part of the responsibility to bring up the child God's way is taking place. We take seriously the role of the church to help to build these precious lives on the foundation of God's Word.
Nothing serves as so precious a reminder of God's blessing to us as the birth of a child. Every newborn baby should have the joy and privilege of being brought into a truly Christian home. It is the responsibility of the local church nursery to provide all the help possible to parents as they seek to serve the Lord, bring their children to church, and teach their children to know God. With all the attention given to the physical facilities of the nursery, let us never forget the vital importance of the Christian Family.
