Scranton Revival Baptist Church 

The Revival Baptist Church is located in the Providence section of the city of Scranton, Pennsylvania.  We are located on the north side of the city.  We are in a beautiful, historic stone building that was finished in the nineteenth century.  We have remodled the property to function as an active, independent, fundamental Baptist Church, but the property retains its historical beauty.

There are more than 15,000 independent Baptist churches in America and at least 10,000 independent Baptist missionaries serving on mission fields worldwide.

Every independent Baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self- governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. It is our desire to be a truly New Testament church.

At the Revival Baptist Church, though we have one message-the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry-the ministry He has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, the church is also the home of Revival Baptist Christian School, a private Christian school providing Christ-centered education for kindergarten through the twelfth grade. The church has many other training and soul winning outreaches including our bus ministry and a graded Sunday school for all ages.
